Tuesday, May 19, 5:30pm - 7:30pm - New Family Welcome Event (JS, MS & SRS). All parents and Grade 7-11 Students to attend.
Friday, May 22 latest - Submit student medical forms on YorkNet (video outlining how to fill in the form can be found here)

Friday, June 12 - Review our Uniform Guide and place your order with Top Marks by this date to ensure free shipping and on-time delivery. The school code to shop online is YOR01. For International families, if you do not have a Canadian address yet, you can ship your order to the school. Please email admission@yorkschool.com to coordinate.

Friday, July 24 latest - Order textbooks from the Alpha Textbooks(Grades 7-12) - See the Technology & Textbook section for details. For International families, if you do not have a Canadian address yet, you can ship your order to the school. Please email admission@yorkschool.com to coordinate.

Thursday, August 6 latest - Bring in laptop to 1320 Yonge Street to be prepared by IT staff no later than Thursday, August 6 (Grades 9-12). For International families, if you are purchasing a new laptop and wish to ship it directly to the school, please email admission@yorkschool.com to coordinate.
Week of August 24 - Check your email the week of August 24, 2026, for an alert from the Principal about accessing your child’s timetable from YorkNet.

Wednesday, September 2 - New Student Orientation and Welcome BBQ for all students in Grades 7-11 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
3:00pm - 5:00pm Orientation Activities
5:00pm - 6:00pm - Welcome BBQ on the turf
Tuesday, September 8 - First Day of School
Tuesday, September 8 - Departure for Camp Timberlane
Grade 12s arrive at 7:45am for an 8:00am departure from Canadian Tire Parking Lot at 825 Eglinton Ave E.
Grade 9s arrive at 9:15am for a 9:30am departure from Canadian Tire Parking Lot at 825 Eglinton Ave E.
Grade 10 and 11 depart at 10:00am from the Canadian Tire Parking lot at 825 Eglinton Ave. E (please be there by 9:45am).

All students will return to the Canadian Tire parking lot at 825 Eglinton Ave. E at the following times: Grade 11 and 12 at 12:00pm, Grade 9 and 10 at 12:30pm.
